One half-hour sets the demand charge
On business demand tariffs, the single highest reading in the evening peak window can set a charge for the whole month. On Energex's business demand tariff it is about A$13.90 per kVA, every month.
AI for commercial solar & batteries
Tekmor's AI works out the most cost-effective solar and battery system for your site, then the same algorithm runs it to deliver the return it promised. For many commercial sites, that cuts the electricity bill by more than half.

The market today
Tariffs, wholesale prices and incentives all reward a battery that acts at the right moment. A battery that just follows a timer misses most of it.
On business demand tariffs, the single highest reading in the evening peak window can set a charge for the whole month. On Energex's business demand tariff it is about A$13.90 per kVA, every month.
Sites on wholesale-linked contracts pay a price that resets every five minutes, from below zero to thousands of dollars a megawatt-hour. A fixed charging schedule can't respond to either.
Since 1 September 2026, the NSW Peak Demand Reduction Scheme supports commercial batteries through Peak Reduction Certificates (activities BESS4 and BESS5). Larger systems must be internet-connected and able to be controlled by a demand response aggregator.
We build tariff, wholesale and certificate value into every plan, then run the battery to capture it. Certificate prices change over time; we estimate values at the time of each plan.
The project gap
The numbers that justify the investment and the system that runs it are rarely connected.
Systems are sized on short load histories, generic tariffs and vendor spec sheets. The proposal looks right, and nobody tests it on the real site.
Once installed, most batteries follow a fixed rule. They ignore when your network charges peak, so they are often empty in the half-hour that sets your demand charge.
After handover, few owners measure actual savings against the investment case. The shortfall shows up slowly, in the power bill.
What we do
The algorithm that writes your proposal is the same one that runs your battery. What the plan promises is what the system is run to deliver, and we report against it every month.
Who it's for
We find the system that cuts your energy cost the most for the capital you put in, then make sure it does. Cheaper energy lets you run more equipment and longer hours at better margins.
Proposals backed by site data close faster and hold up to scrutiny. After handover, offer AI-optimised operation and performance reporting as an ongoing service.
Model each asset on real site data before you invest, then track actual returns against the investment case across your portfolio.
Partner with us
We're looking for partners across the value chain. If you build, supply, aggregate or fund commercial energy systems in Australia or New Zealand, let's talk.
Battery, inverter and PCS makers: integrate with our platform, and let site-specific plans show why your equipment is the right fit.
Use our plans to close commercial projects faster, then offer AI-run operation and monthly reporting as an ongoing service.
Work with us on NSW PDRS projects and demand response programs. Every system we plan is sized and specified with the scheme in mind.
Fund commercial solar and battery portfolios with returns modelled on real site data before you invest, and tracked against plan after.
